s Misty worked under the pretense of reestablishing a connection, a guard entered the courtroom.  "Sire, a donkey trying to rush the guard says he has urgent matters with you.  He claims that King Errol has sent his army on their way here."

"What?" Oliver yelled with a mixture of alarm and disbelief.

The guard continued, "When we questioned the donkey as to why the king had sent his army here, his only response was that he'd speak to you in person."

The ogre turned to Misty and yelled, "Do you have that thing working yet?"

"I just about have it sire."  The blue and white swirls of the orb reversed and then no meaningful pattern at all.   Misty, with the walking stick tightly gripped, took off running for the doors in which she had come and yelled, "IT'S GOING TO BLOW!  EVERYBODY, TAKE COVER!"

Right on Que, Lady Rebecca sent in the dragon with a loud crashing sound coming from the dining hall.  Misty took cover as Stan entered the courtroom when the orb shattered in pieces.  The gem on Stan's forehead feel to the ground as the bracelet on Lady Rebecca's wrist returned to its previous broken position.  The sound of thunder and lightning crashed just outside the castle walls as the cell door opened and White Pony awoke.  Kathy and Florence ran to White Pony, "Quickly, follow me."

The ogre and his guards, had to recompose themselves after the orb shattered, now had to deal with a red dragon.  With a swish of his mighty tail, Stan moved the guards aside as he, Florence and the unicorns headed out the door and through the front gates, dealing with the pouring rain outside.

As for her part, Misty took the base of the walking stick in her left paw and with her right paw took hold of the handle, and with a twist, pulled out the sword and dropped the base of the walking stick to the floor.  Jeanette, with her sword still at her side, took a firm grip of her torch and aimed it at the ogre; purposely missing his head by a matter of inches leaving a black mark on the wall behind the ogre.  The ogre grabbed his sword and shield as Jeanette continued to repel the ogre with her torch.  Misty, the highly skilled swords-woman covered Jeanette's back as the ogre's guards were now on the offense.  A group of minions approached Misty from one end as another approached Jeanette from the side.  Jeanette drew her sword with her left paw, lowering the torch in the process.  With the torch lowered the ogre made his move toward Jeanette with his sword ready to strike.  With her sword pressed against the sword of the minion, Jeanette turned away making a 270° turn facing the ogre.   Aiming the torch at the ogre's sword, she fired, causing the ogre to drop his sword, singeing his hand in the process.   She then proceeded with a defensive move, clashing swords against the minion.  Jeanette took a quick look at the ogre's sword and fired at it again, followed by another strike to the ogre's shield.  With the pressure relieved from the sword in her left paw, she refocused her attention to the minion who was in position to strike again.  Jeanette aimed her torch at the minion's left foot causing him to drop his sword and fall to the floor in pain allowing her to put more focus on the ogre, who was becoming weaker with the two unicorns running further and further away.  For a few seconds, having forgotten about Misty, Jeanette turned around to see Misty was quite busy with the minions she was up against.  Once again missing on purpose, to give the minions fair warning, she fired in their direction causing them to loose focus for a second, while Misty made a retreat.  With no real defence against the torch the minions tried to regroup; but with Jeanette in position to strike and the minions now unable to, everyone was in a stand still.  Not wanting to get burned, the minions dropped their swords.  The ogre, on the ground, was getting weaker as the stench of evil dissipated and the heavyness lifted.

With the only sound now coming from the rain storm, Misty went back to retrieve the base of her walking stick, sliding the sword in with a twist, locking it in place.  She observed the ogre and then to the guard with the injured foot.  "The ogre's guard will be fine, but the ogre himself doesn't have much time left," Misty said to Jeanette.   "We must leave the guards for now.  We have bigger fish to fry outside."  Now, no longer in the mode she was using previously, Misty continued, "Queen Olivia, Lady Rebecca and family, we must leave."  Using her non-dominant left paw, Jeanette returned her sword to her side while continuing to hold her torch with her right paw.
