I	believe I now understand what Dad meant and what I must do," Jeanette announced.

"This sword is meant to set the captives free, not for revenge. I'm going after the puppet master, not the puppet. It's only by breaking the spell the ogre has over the dragon that we are able to get to the truth. Because I didn't hold a grudge against the ogre all this time, I am able to face him without being blinded by my own emotions. The dragon will fight us, but he could quite possibly be one of the captives we must set free. It would be best if Florence, Kamida, Pence and I go at it together, and for the rest of you to stay."

"Jeanette...," Rebecca began to say.

"Mom, this must be done. This is the only way."

"As I was about to say Darling," Rebecca remarked, "you can't go unprepared."

Jeanette looked down and noticed she was still in her night gown. "I'll get the problem fixed." She grabbed some earth tone clothes out of the backpack and went behind a bush to change.

Pence put on Kamida's backpack.

Jeanette returned leaving her backpack and remaining supplies with the queen, her mother and sisters. Jeanette straped on her sword and sheath, and grabbed her torch.

With that, Florence and her party of four set out to rescue some unicorns.
