The ferret queen smiled, "Do not be absurd little sorceress, of course its me, search your memory, I'm not your enemy?" The little sorceress opened her mouth to say something but at the same moment her bracelet glowed with a purple light and a purple butterfly appeared in front of her. It hovered above her head and gave her another memory. The little skunk stood behind the portal that lead toward the Unicorn Glade and looked back towards Pence. The little dragon was sitting beside her backpack. She waved at him and felt a little unsure about leaving him behind. Then she shook her head, "The other wrymling said only girls where allowed in here. He has to wait until I return." She heard herself say. Kamida walked over a path of white sand with green grass growing on either side. Small flowers adorned the green grass. The forest floor seemed to be covered with clouds of the purest white. Huge, majestic trees reached high into the air and colorful shrubs grew between the trees. She saw small multicolored things zoom between the bushes, one of them moved toward her and waved, then zoomed away. "A pixie!" the skunkette giggled. She concentrated on a spell and created the illusion of a multicolored flower. The pixies all sighed, then applauded the little skunk's illusion. The young skunk giggled again, then stopped concentrating and walked on. After a few minutes, the forest gave way to a huge plain of green grass. The little skunk looked and saw a formation of huge stones. A bright light shone down from it illuminating the central part. "Just like the Wrymling said," she told herself. Kamida walked toward the stones, between the pillars, into the central part of the structure and saw the giant stone slab. "Look to the North of the main table, there you will see two pillars with a wooden table between them. On that table you will find a silver box and a scroll case. Take the bracelet from the box and the scroll from the scroll case, but do NOT take the box or the scroll case with you," she recited the imprisoned wrymling's instructions. The little skunk took the scroll out of the case; then opened the box and pulled out a bracelet. She curiously watched it, then began to concentrate on its magic when she suddenly heard small feet running toward her. She turned around and saw four chipmunks coming toward her. The forth and oldest looking of them stopped and raised her hands as she whispered arcane phrases. The little sorceress felt a roaring pain in her heart and stumbled back against the table, pushing the silver box off. She cried in pain as the empathic link between her and her familiar is abruptly broken. "She's without outside help now, get her, get her!" the oldest chipmunk yelled to her daughters. The other chipmunks ran toward her, their predatory like teeth bared. Kamida recomposed herself and quickly hissed an arcane phrase. White strands of spider webs shoot from her outstretched hands and covered the chipmunks. She quickly turned around and ran away. The little sorceress blinked her small violet eyes as the world turned back to normal. Kamida looked at the chipmunk that smiled at her, "Hello Kamida, we started to get worried about you." The little skunkette looked surprised, then pulled the sword out of its sheath and glared at the woman. "I remember now! You're a liar! You're the one who attacked me in the Unicorn Grove!" She held the sword ready in her left hand and looked angrily at the others. "You are the evil ones. You tried to trick me again!" |
